Green Birthday Invitations

ben_birthday

Our son’s 2nd birthday is coming up next month and of course the first step in planning a party is the birthday invitation.  Martha went online and found some great invitations and they happen to be greener than your average invitation.  They are 30% post consumer waste and 50% recycled paper.  You can order them online at www.TinyPrints.com.  If you are looking for paper invitations, consider recycled paper.

  1. You know what a great green gift for a 2 year old is? An empty box. Why they like the wrapping paper and the box more than the gift? Who knows.

    Happy birthday!

  2. Be sure and let me know when you kid’s next birthday is and I will hook him up with an awesome box! What would be even cooler is a green builder out in the backyard putting together a swingset, just like Santa Claus…

  3. Have you considered e-cards for the invitations? Check out http://www.care2.com. I know, a handwritten card is much more personal, but honestly – they end up somewhere in a box and nobody will ever look at them afterwards…

  4. I’m not even sure they end up in a box… Absolutely an ecard or evite would be the best option.
