Over the Memorial Day Weekend my friend and Atlanta custom home builder Stuart Grubb www.sgrubb.com helped me take apart a wooden playset in a friend’s backyard, move it to my backyard and rebuild it. Believe it or not, we were able to do it in one day…sortof. This is one of those huge “no-brainers” that everyone should at least give a shot. I was told by many how hard it would be to put back together, and “it’s going to take much longer than you think”, but we were determined to get it done and even took a couple of breaks during the pretty intense thunder and lightening storm. I was able to save well over $1000.00 and the playset avoided an early death in a nearby landfill. If you are considering buying a new playset, be sure and email your friends first or even post it on Facebook, you never know who has a really nice playset and is just about to chop it down and throw it away.
