Today we are officially listing our new EarthCraft House subdivision in Grant Park called Grant Park Place.  The signs went up yesterday and here is how we are going about it.  At this point we are listing the 5 single family houses.  Lots 1 & 2 are listed as new homes, and Lots 3, 4 & 5 are being listed as developed lots.  Lot 1 which faces Grant Park Place is priced at $659,000, has 4 bedrooms, 4 ½ baths.  Lot 2 is on Cherokee Avenue and will overlook Grant Park.  It is priced at $639,000 and has 4 bedrooms 3 ½ baths.  This is the only house that offers a bedroom on the main level.  Lots 3, 4 and 5 are all on Cherokee Avenue and are priced as developed lots at $225,000.  The exterior plans for all 5 houses have been approved by the city and the neighborhood and thus cannot be changed.  The interior plans can be altered as needed by the buyer.  They will just need to work with their builder on any changes they decide on.  We are excited for families to start transforming this Urban Green Properties development into a community.  Call your builders, bring your builders, use our builders.  We are looking for builders to buy lots and build, and interested parties to buy a lot and build their own home on one of our lots.  Please call us for more information or visit our website www.GrantParkPlace.com.

What kind of green features will you all be focusing on?

Great question Matt, through the EarthCraft Program we will be focusing on conservation of resources and energy both during construction and once the house is actually occupied, savings on operating and repair costs, and improved air and water quality. Each home can also be customized by a buyer to be as green as they want it to be. That actually calls for another post on things buyers can do to green up their new construction homes…
