Keep North Fulton Beautiful and BSA Troop 370 are sponsoring an Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, February 7, 2009.  The event will be held at St. James United Methodist Church from 9am-1pm.  The Church is located at 4400 Peachtree Dunwoody Road., Atlanta, GA 30342. View Larger Map

* Laptop Computers * Desktop Computers * Monitors & TVs $10 charge/unit * Inkjet or Laser Printers * Scanners, Fax Machines * Power Cables, Network Cables * Cell Phones * Ink Jet Cartridges, Toner Cartridges * UPS Batteries * Misc. Computer Parts including speakers * Stereos, VCR’s

Electronics from this event are being recycled by Keep North Fulton Beautiful through MOLAM International.  MOLAM International is one of the only two United States EPA Qualified Electronics Recycling Facilities under nationwide contract (EP-W-05-001), the only State of Georgia e-scrap Recycling & Data/Media Destruction Facility (contract 40300-233-0000000130).  MOLAM is proud to advertise that all of their processes and down-stream vendors have been qualified by the EPA.  MOLAM has been recognized as the leading sustainable and environmentally friendly business representing the electronics recycling industry for the state of Georgia.  MOLAM is the only company in the state of Georgia with onsite shredding capabilities.  MOLAM shreds all hard drives that we receive.  After a batch of hard drives is sent through our primary shredder, the pieces are then sent through a secondary shredder, where they are reduced in size again and then sent under a magnet for degaussing (further data removal).
